Our accommodations
To be surrounded by wild nature and at the same time enjoy good comfort,
you get the opportunity to do that in our cozy canvas tents.
The tents are carefully and cosily furnished and all have a wood-burning stove that will make you welcome the rain and curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a cup of tea.
The island suite
On the small peninsula in Gen's vik you will find this exclusive accommodation. Row across the bay and arrive at your very own dock and very own spot.
Here stands a beautiful canvas tent nestled among the greenery of the leaves, anchored on a small wooden deck, awaiting your arrival.
Rowing boat is included in this accommodation, so feel free to take the opportunity to take a lovely trip on the lake. Maybe row out late in the evening and watch the starry sky unfold on the mirror-like surface of the water?

As the name reveals, this nice tent is located on a small hill, surrounded by birdsong from sheer beech trees and about 3 minutes from the lake and the sauna raft.
The edge of the cliff is our most secluded accommodation, but still just under 5 min. walk from the outdoor kitchen.
If you wish to take a trip on the lake, there are canoes and SUPs at your disposal, which are also shared with other guests.

Skogsudden 1
Out on Skogsudden there are two tents and a stay here is therefore particularly well suited for the family or group of friends.
The tents are located on the other side of the bay as seen from the Ö suite, just a stone's throw from the outdoor kitchen and toilet.
If you wish to take a trip on the lake, there are canoes and SUPs at your disposal, which are also shared with other guests.
Skogsudden 1 is, as the name suggests, on a small headland. With the forest safely in the background, sitting on the first floor of your own jetty, you can enjoy the first rays of the sun that find their way through the treetops on the other side of the bay.
Skogsudden 1 is located at the far end of the cape and therefore it works fine to book this accommodation separately for 2 pers.

Skogsudden 2
Get away together, the whole family! In Skogsudden 2 there is room for up to 4 people (max. 3 adults/alt 2 children up to the age of 12). We make beds with two extra mattresses next to the beds.
Skogsudden 2 is a stone's throw from Skogsudden 1 and is therefore also perfect for joint bookings for a larger family or a small group of friends who want to experience something nice together.
If you wish to take a trip on the lake, there are canoes and SUPs at your disposal, which are also shared with other guests.
The tent is located on the other side of the bay as seen from the Island suite, just a stone's throw from the outdoor kitchen and toilet.

Kroksjön's food concept
A box full of lovely ingredients and good recipes for your entire stay is included when you stay with us. It contains goodies from the area and everything you need to whip up forest-luxurious and tasty meals in the communal outdoor kitchen.
The only thing you need to bring is the bottle of wine/other favorite drink for dinner.
When the food tastes its best
Toilet and bath
There is neither a shower nor a flushing toilet here in the forest, but many dips in Kroksjön's clear and clean water are recommended and a simple but nice outdoor toilet is near the outdoor kitchen. At the sauna pier you will find organic and lake-friendly body soap, and if you bring your own bath products, we kindly ask that these are also gentle on the environment and microorganisms.
There are no toilets/bathrooms closer to the tents.
